the central is a renovation project revolving around the place’s existing iconic

a floating platform embraces visitors through the warm LED lighting, leaving
them surrounded by the “centrale” which is actually to their right, and
virtually reflected on their left. the main items that allow the creation of such
an ambience are paintings symmetrically hung on the wall. these project the
main table from across, which is highlighted using custom made suspension
with accent lighting. the paintings are printed on translucent plexiglas
allowing the lighting twist: a carefully outlined black and white background
emphasized via LED lights, adding life to the on-wall reflection by redrawing
the photos with lights.
to produce different scenes and break the verticality of the space, adjustable
floor lamps act as horizontal lighting elements. this technique puts into
play indirect lighting, diffused lighting, and accent lighting, all running on
different circuits.
the finest detail of the stairs’ landing is finally worked using a custom tube
assuring direct lighting of the corner.
